Giclé Printing

We use Giclé Printing to reproduce the Art work that you order .

Giclee Printing has many benefits, one of them is that we can print single images on demand.

The word Giclee is from a French word meaning "to spray or squirt."

In the past few years, the word "é" as a fine art term, has come to be associated with prints using fade-resistant "archival" inks (including solvent inks) and the inkjet printers that use them

The Giclee printer is a large format ink jet printer using 8 to 12 colors of archival pigmented ink.
Archival pigmented inks are rated to last 150 years or more. and have waterproof and UV protective properties.

In the past few years, the word "é" as a fine art term, has come to be associated with prints using fade-resistant "archival" inks (including solvent inks) and the inkjet printers that use them.

These printers use the CMYK colour process but may have multiple cartridges for variations of each colour based on the Cc MmYK colour model (e.g. light magenta and light cyan inks in addition to regular magenta and cyan); this increases the apparent resolution and colour gamut and allows smoother gradient transitions .

Prints are printed out on Epson Archival matte and Epson Enhanced matte paper, photo Glossy paper is also available.

Our papers and inks are all of Archival quality.
